Jake Koontz, a multi-faceted finance and accounting leader, is Director of Finance at Charles Brooks Holding Company (CBHC).

As Director of Finance at CBHC, Jake champions all financial and accounting activities for the multi-million-dollar, data-driven real estate investment fund specializing in the distressed tax deed marketplace. He is also responsible for overseeing all internal and external financial reporting for CBHC and CBHC managed entities. In addition, Jake directs all asset management activities, produces economic models to vet investment opportunities, and provides strategic direction through budgets and proforma’s to guide the company toward profitability and long-term success.

Prior to joining CBHC, Jake served as an Experience Associate for PwC, where he conducted private company audits. Gaining an inside look at many different businesses, Jake learned what makes companies tick from a financial perspective. After two years at PwC, Jake pivoted from auditing to finance, leveraging his prior real estate accounting experience at his father’s company, CBHC.

Jake earned his Master of Accounting from the University of Florida in 2019. He is also recognized as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida.
