Byron Cooksey, a serial entrepreneur, and property management leader, is Director of Property Management and Development at Charles Brooks Holding Company (CBHC).
As Director of Property Management and Development at CBHC, Byron strives to create efficient property management practices, analyze development data and trends, and establish timelines for vertical construction. In addition, he is responsible for coordinating and executing the management and development of residential, commercial, new construction, and rentals. Leveraging his extensive real estate knowledge, Bryon is adept at developing a portfolio of efficient and profitable projects.
Prior to joining CBHC in 2020, Byron launched Florida Tree Foliage, a large specimen tree brokerage company, partnering with tree farmers throughout Florida to supply trees for residential and commercial development. He also oversaw the permitting and development of Hidden Oaks, a 35-lot residential subdivision in Vero Beach. More recently, Byron oversaw the permitting and development of 9 different businesses with over 40 employees and annual revenue of $10 million.
Bryon attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Health and Performance.
